Serverless Resume Website

Original Project - Forrest Brazeal, cloudresumechallenge.dev

• Created a static website hosted in an AWS S3 bucket with a counter displaying number of visitors
• Used Terraform to provision back end services consisting of DynamoDB table, a Python Lambda function, and an API Gateway
• End-to-end testing through Cypress.io to ensure the API is functioning properly
• CI/CD is done through Github Actions

Network Analyst | June 2023-Present

Georgia-Pacific Cellulose - Brunswick, GA

• Worked towards improving the reliability of the Business and Process Control networks by ensuring redundancy wherever needed including uplinks, power supplies, and overall network design
• Installed and managed new Solarwinds Orion server to monitor our Network infrastructure
• Built up-to-date network maps for all the process areas of the mill
• Led the refresh of our top level routers for our Process Control Network. Upgrading them from Catalyst 3850s to 9500s
• Setup RADIUS authentication using Windows NPS allowing AAA authentication for our Process Control Network switches

Network Engineer | February 2022-June 2023

Abacus Solutions Group - Brunswick, GA

• Managed network consisting of Cisco Catalyst 3750 & 3850 switches, Palo Alto Next Gen Firewall
• Audited 100+ network closets: updated rack elevation diagrams and improved reference documentation, resulting in faster troubleshooting
• Provided escalation support to the help desk for network-related issues

• Managed FTTH access network using Calix CMS.
• Used PRTG to monitor network for any outages or bandwidth over-utilization
• Configured and installed Calix E7 access nodes to support the growing customer base.
